We are sad to inform you that due to the spread of COVID-19 and the precautions being taken in our local community, the 2020 Independence Egg Hunt has been cancelled. We are looking forward to seeing you later this Spring in the community and are already making plans to make the 2021 Egg Hunt the best one ever!

It's time to register for the 2020 Independence Egg Hunt!
WHAT? The Spring's best event - a fun filled, family-friendly day featuring face-painting, balloon artists, food vendors, prize give-aways, and over 30,000 candy-filled eggs to find!
WHEN? Saturday, April 4th, 11AM-1PM (egg hunt at noon).
WHERE? Memorial Park, near Kroger in Independence.
WHO? Everyone is invited, but the egg hunt is for children ages 0-12.

FAMILY FRIENDLY
The Independence Egg Hunt is a great way to kick off Spring with your family! Kids ages 2-12 will have a blast hunting for 30,000 eggs at Memorial Park. It's more than just an egg hunt though - take a picture with the Easter Bunny, get your face-painted, grab a free balloon animal, visit the food truck village for delicious food and drinks, and more!
GREAT GIVE-AWAYS
When you pre-register your family you're automatically entered into a drawing to win some amazing prizes! Give-aways this year include tickets/passes to local attractions, electronics like gaming systems... and more!* Prizes will be announced the day of the event immediately following the Egg Hunt. Stick around to see if you've won!

There is no cost to you or your family to participate in the Independence Egg Hunt! The city and Hickory Grove want to give back to the incredible community we are proud to be a part of.
I missed the deadline to pre-register! Can my family still attend?
Of course! The deadline for pre-registration is only to ensure that you are eligible for prize drawings and to help us get an estimate of how many people to expect.
What age range of children can participate in this year's egg hunt?
Kids ages 2-12 are welcome to join in the fun. Several different areas will be utilized to divide up children by age.
What food vendors will be participating this year?
We're still finalizing vendors for the 2019 Egg Hunt, but previous years vendors have included Kona Ice, Pioneer Kettle Corn, California Tri Tip, ULucky Dog, Patriot Grill, Marty's Waffles, Wicked Hickory, and Bones Brothers' Wings.
What if it rains?
In case of inclement weather, we will announce a back-up location closer to the date of the event. Check this page for updates!
